For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit All About Cookies | Online Privacy and Digital Security, also, please, read our Cookie Policy.
- Log files
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
Information We Collect from Other Sources
We obtain information from third-party sources. For example, we may collect information about you from social networks, accounting services providers and data analytics providers. Additionally, if you create or log into your Multic account through a third-party platform (such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter), we will have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name, lists of friends or followers, birthday, and profile picture, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such platform.
Information We Derive
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your location based on your IP address or infer reading preferences based on your reading history.

- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities related to our Site;
- Carefully search, evaluate and prevent any malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activities that could infringe upon the rights and property of Multic and others;
- Debug to identify and repair errors on the Site;

Sharing Your Personal Information
- We share personal information with other users of the Services. For example, if you use our Services to publish content, post comments or send private notes, certain information about you will be visible to others, such as your name, photo, bio, other account information you may provide, and information about your activities on our Services (e.g., your followers and who you follow, recent posts, questions, highlights, and responses).
- We collaborate with vendors, contractors and consultants who need to access personal information in order to provide services. These may include companies that help us with hosting, storage, admin and infrastructure-related activities.
- We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. In situations where we are required to disclose your personal information due to legal process, we will always inform you in advance and provide you with the opportunity to contest it (e.g. by going to court) unless it is legally prohibited or could pose a risk of harm and/or illegal activity. We reserve the right to challenge any requests relating to users of our Site that we consider to be unlawful or inappropriate.
- We may share personal information in certain situations where your actions don't match our user agreements or policies, if you've broken the law, or if it's essential for protecting Multic, its users, the public and other people's rights and properties.
- We share certain personal information with our lawyers and other professional advisors who are helping us to protect and manage our business interests. This is done only when absolutely necessary to get the required advice.
- We share personal information with your consent or at your direction.
- We also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on Download Page.
Third-Party Embeds
Multic does not host some of the content displayed on our Site. We allow our users to post content that is hosted on a third-party site, which is then embedded within ours. When a user interacts with this content, it can send information about their interaction to the hosting third party - just as if they had gone directly to the third-party's website. For example, when you load a Multic post page with a YouTube video Embed and watch the video, YouTube receives information about your activity, such as your IP address and how much of the video you watch. Multic does not have the power to regulate or affect the information that third-party services collect through Embeds or the way they use it. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through Embeds. We would highly advise that you read through the privacy policy of the third-party hosting the Embed, as it will provide information about how any data collected is dealt with. To ensure you're fully aware of their policies, please review them prior to interacting with the Embed.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.
